Switch2 is a single door control unit. The control unit stores the access permissions of the user and is mounted within the building. This makes the system suitable for high security applications. 

Switch2 can be used with PROXIMITY, CARDLOCK or TOUCHLOCK readers. Switch2 can be installed to many doors over a site, all using the same tokens.

Two readers can be connected to a single unit to give read in and read out access control.

NEt 2

Net2 is a networked access control system. A networked system gives the advantages of central control, event reporting and flexible control over users' access.

Each control unit is part of a network but can run independently making its own decisions and remembering events.

The control unit has FLASH memory which means that firmware can be upgraded from the PC.

Oliver Baker - Technician

Oliver is one of our newly appointed technicians. His back ground is electro mechanical having worked in the TV aerial, solar installation and telephone cabling environments. Oliver has had intensive in house training on the security product we install, service and maintain and he will be kept busy over the next few months with training at our key suppliers to include Videcon, CAME, Paxton and Videx Access Control. Oliver is already a key member of the team and is giving Tony and Rob a run for their money where harmless banter is concerned.

Kenny White - Technician

Kenny is one of our newly appointed technicians. Although his back ground is mechanical he has shown outstanding ability to be able to understand wiring diagrams and circuits and electro mechanical product. Kenny has had intensive in house training on the security product we install, service and maintain and will be kept busy over the next few months with training at our key suppliers to include Videcon, CAME, Paxton and Videx Access control. If you look closely you might see a resemblance with one of our other engineers?

Hazel Forrest – Finance Director 

Not only does Hazel control the company’s finances, but she is also key to our customer liaison. Hazel answers client queries, when possible, over the phone - otherwise she will schedule in a prime appointment, for the engineers to come out and resolve any issues, or initiate any installations. Hazel doesn’t visit sites but through completion of digital courses such as Data Communications & Networking, Net2 Advanced, and a number more – Hazel is very much clued up on possible reasons for faults on a variety of our products. Furthermore, Hazel is the one that really gets us ticking each morning – ensuring that our engineers are punctual, well presented and 100% aware of what our days’ entail – what would we do without her?

Tony Bracey - Senior Technician

Tony has NVQ Level 2 in Security Installation and is trained and certified as a CAME Gate Automation Installer, Videcon CCTV Installer, Paxton Access Installer, Eaton (formerly Scantronic, Cooper Menvier) Alarm Installer and trained and certified as a competent person to install Videx and BPT Access Control and Fire Alarm Systems. Tony’s many skills include the managing of ground works to be completed for Gate Automation and Access Control to include cable management runs, welding, installation of main Gate Automation product, maintaining the working order of professional tools to be able to carry out installation, service and maintenance works. Tony is the life and soul of the company, always there to help and always bringing a smile to our faces with his humour and jokes.

Gary Morris - Service Manager

Gary has City and Guilds Level 1, 2 and 3 in Electrical Installation and NVQ Level 2 in Security Installation as well as being certified to small works installation (electrical), he is also trained and certified as a CAME Gate Automation Installer, Videcon CCTV Installer, Paxton Access Installer, Eaton (formerly Scantronic, Cooper Menvier) Alarm Installer and trained and certified as a competent person to install Videx and BPT Access Control and Fire Alarm Systems. One of his many duties is to ensure service and preventive maintenance work is carried out in a professional manner, his role also includes managing company stock and spare component levels as well as ensuring all service vehicles are equipped with the correct level of service components.

Richard Harris - Operations Director

Richard has too many qualifications to list but some of his qualifications include being a CAMESAFE installer, he is certified for small works installations (electrical) he is also trained and certified as a CAME Gate Automation Installer, Videcon CCTV Installer, Paxton Access Installer, Eaton (formerly Scantronic, Cooper Menvier) Alarm Installer and trained and certified as a competent person to install Videx and BPT Access Control and Fire Alarm Systems. His many roles include surveys and quotations for new and replacement installations for CCTV, Access Control, Gate Automation, Intruder Alarms including police monitoring, Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting and Managed Lighting, Roller Shutters and anything to do with security. He manages and supervises and has hands on with installation, service and maintenance. He is the person in the company other members of staff contact when the manufacturer is not able to respond to fault findings.

Rob White - Senior Technician

Rob has NVQ Level 2 in Security Installation and is trained and certified as a CAME Gate Automation Installer, Videcon CCTV Installer, Paxton Access Installer, Eaton (formerly Scantronic, Cooper Menvier) Alarm Installer and trained and certified as a competent person to install Videx and BPT Access Control and Fire Alarm Systems. His many roles include the installation, service and maintenance of Paxton Access Net2 Pro software and readers, installation of CCTV to be able to view wide to include Smart Phones, laptops, IPAD, computers etc and allowing port opening on routers, together with Tony his sharp wit and humour keep us all on our toes.

Ron Forrest - Managing Director 

Ron has been a qualified engineer for more than 50 years, once again he has far too many qualifications to list but here are a few, he is certified for small works installations (electrical) he is also trained and certified as a CAME Gate Automation Installer, Videcon CCTV Installer, Paxton Access Installer, Eaton (formerly Scantronic, Cooper Menvier) Alarm Installer and trained and certified as a competent person to install Videx and BPT Access Control and Fire Alarm Systems. His many roles include surveys and quotations of all types of security product, managing and supervising as well as taking hands on approach of all levels of installation, service and maintenance. Ron’s moto is no job is too small or too big but the quality of the installation and the aftercare offered to our customers must be of the highest integrity, if our customer is not happy then he’s not happy.

We have a comprehensive range of Door Access Control and Intercom Systems. These can be for a single door or gate, or for many doors and gates. All systems are installed to relevant British Standards (BS), or European Standards (EN) and are covered by SSAIB Certification. 

Door Access can range from a simply push to talk and handset release, to video handset release (click on BPT and Videx Systems), or computer controlled systems (click on Paxton Systems).
